As part of the leadership team. Building teams. Launching products. Entering new markets. Winning customers. Losing deals. Making decisions with imperfect information. Learning as we go.
And I still love it.
I love the highs and the lows that come with building companies. The blood, the sweat, the tears. The laughter. The high fives after a great launch. The difficult conversations when things don't go to plan. The constant learning that comes from trying, failing, adjusting and trying again.
There's something incredibly special about building ambitious companies with great people.
One thing I'm particularly proud of is that I never took the elevator.
I climbed every stair.
"I've probably made a thousand mistakes. Learned from most of them. Got a few things right. Then doubled down on those."
That's what fifteen years of building teaches you.
There are no shortcuts to building great companies. Just curiosity, hard work, great people, and a willingness to keep learning.
I've been fortunate enough to build in many different roles. At Quinyx and Mentimeter. As a management consultant. As Chair of the Swedish Young Shareholders' Association. On the boards of the Stockholm Marketing Association, Lingio, and Lime Technologies. By building The AI Native Marketer, where I explore how AI is changing the way we build, market and scale B2B SaaS companies. And today, through Sparketing, helping founders and leadership teams build the next generation of AI-native B2B SaaS companies.
Different roles.
Different companies.
Different challenges.
But they've all taught me the same lesson.
Growth starts when Sales, Product and Marketing start learning from each other and work in one direction.
That's the conviction Sparketing is built on.
It's the mantra I've come back to throughout my career.
Dream big enough to change the company.
Break the work into small, manageable steps.
Then start.
Because momentum beats perfection.
I also believe leaders need to grow faster than their companies.
The moment you stop learning, experimenting and challenging your own thinking, your company eventually will too.
That's why I spend so much time exploring AI, reading, testing ideas, recording podcasts, bringing smart people together, and asking questions.
Curiosity has always been one of my biggest competitive advantages.
And if there's one thing I've learned after fifteen years…
The best companies aren't built by brilliant individuals. They're built by great people who build together.
I joined Quinyx when it was a small startup and spent the next nine years helping build one of Europe's leading Workforce Management companies.
A different company. A different challenge. The same passion for building.
I'm still building.
